Why
not visit Central Baptist Church?
We are a mainstream Christian Church
located
very close to the Park Street Campus of the University of Bedfordshire (opposite
‘Iceland’) and have lots on offer on
Sundays and during the week
A
warm welcome awaits you at services on
Sundays, which are held at 10.45 and 18.00. Generally the
morning
is an all-age service. We hold monthly
lunches after the service
on the third sunday of each month - students are most welcome and warmly invited to stay and make friends.
On Sunday evenings
the emphasis is on variety, with sessions on Christian beliefs,
current issues, Christian impact in today’s world, and sometimes a
visiting speaker with a specific area of expertise.

Midweek
Cell groups, including Bible study, are held at various locations across the
town. An introduction to the Christian faith, the Alpha
Course, as shown on TV and used by hundreds of thousands of
people world-wide, is usually running, and open to all comers. |

‘Open
Door’ serves very reasonably priced meals on Wednesdays between 12 and 1.30. For
international students who may wish to practice
their English and meet people, we offer a 2 course meal for £1,
with English conversation (or just come for the conversation!). |

you about the Church and what we do, or
just to listen to you |
